How can we build a culture of innovation...?

One of the most powerful aspects of ccm is that the allied and distorted energies not only manifest in us as unique individuals and teams, but they also manifest in communities and whole organisations. This amazing quality enables this tool to give us profound insights into the unconscious cultural patterns and habits that all organisations inevitably develop.

Cultures are also of course great mirrors of the dominant leadership style. And it is often the case that culture change needs to be accompanied by a shift in leadership style. However, by raising our awareness to our cultural biases we can also learn to see how we can tune our culture to accelerate the delivery of our strategies.

Moreover, strategies are nearly always generated through and by the dominant culture. They unconsciously keep us trapped doing what we have always done or at best drive incremental change. The greatest challenge is to leap into a higher order of consciousness and creativity whereby strategy and culture are in a constant dance of adaptation and refinement.

Over the last few years we have experimented with ccm as a cultural survey tool with great success. It is simple and compelling, and offers unique insights into how to build cultures of innovation - essential for most organisations in today's world.
